A Whole Bunch of Links

Well, it's late, and I've been writing some snarkier-than-usual comments lately, so I'll just put some stuff up here and hope that y'all like some of it.

The Carnival of Homeschooling is up at HomeSchoolBuzz.

There were several posts that we liked from this Carnival, including:

This post about visual-spatial learners (and how they differ from auditory-sequential thinkers).

This post on the challenges of homeschooling when one has lots of kids. Tonya found it particularly interesting, for obvious reasons. The Adrenaline Junkie found it interesting because their toddler boy looks just like ours.

This post appealed to our survivalist instincts. If society collapsed and we had to grow our own food and make our own clothes, could we do it? Probably not, but we're fascinated by people who probably could. Especially the ones who, ahem... bent the rules...

And one more that caught Tonya's eye, about how to teach the"easily distracted child." Hmmm, I think I can figure out why she found it so interesting....

Oh, and by the way, my lovely bride has a post up on her blog, about a whole bunch of whatever. :-)

I have been reading their site for a while. It actually got me into gardening.

BTW, I know this is kind of spammy, but I have a link at my website on a pretty good, FREE prepardness manual written for members of the Mormon church.

While I am not Mormon, the information is still worth chewing on. You can link to my short discussion of it here.

Oh, yeah, right. First you get me in trouble with the Objectivists, and now you're trying to get me in trouble with the Mormons? I know much better than to click that link.

;-)

Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

I deeply apology for luring you into reading the entire article and then posting a lengthy response to it, which got your blog more attention and helped so many readers understand the issues so much better.

I take full responsibility for this and deeply apologize.

(BTW, I highly doubt the Mormons are gonna harass you. You'll find the link at my blog of interest.)

Ok, Ok. I see your point. :-)

I'll take a look at your link when I have the chance. I hope you'll understand if I have to write a few more responses to Michael M first, though.

So ... um ... I suppose you aren't interested in getting a Trunk Monkey either?
